I See One. No ! ! ! Two Luthors ! ! !  
 Michael Rosenbaum has his next project lined up: he will star in a comedy movie titled "Father of Invention" (release date : 2010), Michael reports on his twitter. and according to Spacey´s own Twitter the film started shooting today in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Rosenbaum will play Heather Graham's ex-husband, and Kevin Specey a billionaire inventor who falls on hard times when one of his devices goes spectacularly wrong. To read the plot summary, click here.

The film will be directed by Trent Cooper, who made his feature directorial debut with Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector in 2006. Cooper also wrote the script for Father of Invention with Jonathan Krane and Nichole Beattie.

It’s true it's gonna be just a little part for Michael on this new movie (although as some say, there are No Small Parts, Only Small Actors), but isn't that amazing to see both Rosenbaum and Spacey share even just one scene (Two Luthors, One Movie).

I hope this will be the first of many roles in quality films alongside serious actors like Mr Spacey.

This is the sort of comeback to the screen I was looking forward to. Michael truly deserves it. Let´s keep our fingers crossed for more projects like this to come his way.

As Karim´s said so wisely, there are no small parts; and we´ve seen many who´ve made it to the top thanks to them.

It seems Michael´s wrapping things up in New Orleans and is already planning a trip to NY for the Mets´ game. ;)

I've written him a couple of letters, sent to the address posted, but never gotten a response back -- not that I was expecting -- but I have to wonder, since the website hasn't been updated in SO LONG that my letters even reached their destination.

Don't bother with it
The "official" website is a joke. Don't bother with it. All updates were done by fans and the most dedicated ones left it due to issues with the people in charge. Michael is not associated with it (there is question if he ever was) and nothing through there will reach him. He has accepted that he knows nothing about it. This site is better as well as other fan sites that actually do care to share information with fans.

I would advise to ask hamlat for an address and you may even try the twitter account that michael has and ask for his fan mail because you want to send a card (b-card) to him. He may answer it seems he does read his tweets to him even though he doesnt answer to them all (he probably could even if he wished to he has over 4 thous followers now). The addresses I have seem to be old since he is no longer working at smallville and he changed agents.

That's great news, I'm so happy for him. Even though it's a small part, everything is important.
